Weddings at SMCC

San Marino Community Church has provided a place of worship and a beautiful setting for weddings since its founding in 1941. We are delighted to be a part of this important time in the lives of so many couples.

We consider the marriage service to be a time of worship before God, which focuses upon marriage as a gift of God. We carefully follow the guidelines of the Directory of Worship, which is a part of the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). A copy is available on request from the church office. Before a wedding can be performed in our church, at least one of the couple must be a baptized Christian.

The wedding service should be one of highest reverence, and an occasion of sacred joy and beauty to be remembered. It will be our endeavor to help you plan everything so carefully that you will be able to approach the experience with complete confidence.

Inquiries about weddings at SMCC should be directed to the Wedding Secretary, Nancy Clemens, who can be reached through the church office (626-282-4181). She can provide information on all wedding matters, such as availability of dates, and can provide copies of the SMCC Wedding Brochure.
