Worship Service Information

The worship of God is the most important aspect of the church family’s life at San Marino Community Church. On specified dates the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper are celebrated as well as the seasons of the Christian year.
Traditional Worship Service
Sundays, 9:15 am to 10:15 am
Drawing from traditional and Reformed worship, the 9:15 service contains a variety of elements: music, prayers, reading of Scripture, the spoken word, and congregational participation. The Chancel Choir and soloists provide musical leadership, and hymns are usually accompanied on the church’s spectacular Casavant organ. Children K through 5th grade attend the service of worship for the first 15 minutes and are then dismissed to Sunday School classes. The sacrement of the Lord's Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of every month.

Sundays, 11:15 am to 12:15 pm
SMCC’s less formal worship service begins at 11:15 am. A more casual, "come as you are" worship experience for all ages, “The Gathering” features a wide variety of musical styles and draws from the very best of Christian music (past and present) to lift our hearts in praise and adoration to God. Families are invited to worship together at this less formal service. Though there is no Sunday school, childcare for infants through 5 years old is provided.

10@10! Summer Worship Schedule
Ten Sundays at 10:00 am, beginning July 3rd through Labor Day
Join the church family for ten weeks of summer worship at 10:00 am beginning the first Sunday in July. This single service combines elements of both the traditional worship service and "The Gathering" and includes special music, readings, and a variety of worship leaders and preachers.
