What motivates us to worship? A huge part of the
world's population turns out to do it regularly, for all
sorts of reasons, often without giving it a thought.
Although not a hot topic in today's headlines, worship will
be in the spotlight for the upcoming Lenten series:
THE MAINTENANCE OF DIVINE WORSHIP. Join a conversation
led by Howard Rice on Sundays March 11, 18, and 25 at 10:30
am in Fellowship Hall, based upon his book, and discover why
we worship, basic rules that guide us, and the role of time,
space and movement in worship. The Reverend Howard
Rice, distinguished Professor of Ministry and Chaplain
Emeritus of San Francisco Theological Seminary, has served
as Moderator of San Francisco Presbytery, the 191st General
Assembly, and holds honorary doctorates from Whitworth
College and Carroll College. Everyone is welcome!
