Passion/Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week.  Join us on Sunday, March 16 at the 9:30 am worship service for a parade of palms, a message by the Rev. Jeff' O'Grady, and anthems by the Chancel Choir.  Continue the celebration at the 11:15am "Gathering."

Maundy Thursday
On Jesus' last night with his disciples, he shared a last supper with them and gave them his final teachings.  To remember this dark night, a powerful service of Tenebrae will be held on Thursday, March 20 at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.  Led by Rev. Jeff O'Grady and Rev. Karen Berns, the service will include Communion.

Easter Sunrise Service
Join the church family at Lacy Park at 7:00 am on Easter Sunday, March 23, to proclaim Christ's resurrection.  The Youth will help lead the service which will feature a message by Dr. Charlene Jin Lee, Director of Christian Education.

Easter Sunday Worship
"The Power of New Life" is the title of the Rev. Jeffrey O'Grady's sermon on this holiest of Sundays.  Two services (at 9:30 am and 11:15 am) will feature the message and glorious music by the  choir.   Families with children are encouraged to attend the 9:30 am Easter service.  This year, in place of an egg hunt, a special Easter Celebration is planned for all children during this hour which will include a group photography shoot, a fun project to celebrate new life, and a delicious ice cream station.  Infants through Kindergarten will meet in the lower courtyard, while elementary children will begin the morning with their parents in the sanctuary.  Care for infants and young children will be available at both services.

Due to the popularity of the 9:30 am service, SMCC members and friends are invited to consider attending the identical 11:15 am service so that no overflow seating will be necessary at the early service.
