Out of Chaos, Hope Presbyterian Disaster Assistance

San Marino Community Church joins Southern California in expressing concerns for those devastated by the wildfires and is responding to the needs of those affected by collecting contributions to assist Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.

Due to the overwhelming scope of damage from the Southern California wildfires, the relief process changes daily, sometimes hourly.  Currently PDA teams have been deployed in response to the destruction and suffering, providing relief to the evacuees. 

The scope of the damage caused by the wildfires and the number of people affected is staggering.  But there is a force that is even stronger than the devastating effects of wind and weather:  God's boundless love!  Join Presbyterian Disaster Assistance in making that love felt to the thousands of victims in Southern California. 

Learn more about the ongoing efforts by visiting the PDA website (www.pcusa.org/pda).  Pray for those impacted by this disaster and those working to assist the evacuees.  Give through San Marino Community Church.  Session has authorized a special offering to assist both individuals in need through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and the Malibu Presbyterian Church which lost its church facility in the fires.  Your donations may be made payable to SMCC marked "Malibu Presbyterian," Presbyterian Disaster Assistance" or simply "Fire" (to be split between the two recipients) on your check or envelope.
